In trying to figure out life without him, I bought a book on grief that specifically cited woodworking as a coping strategy. So, without any basic skills or tools, I gave it a go and the rest is history. Let’s just say my first project, a bedframe, won’t likely end up in the Museum of Fine Arts, but my skills advanced over the years as did my projects.
